Northstone CFO is led by Nikolaus Salinas, who brings more than a decade of hands-on financial leadership experience within the construction industry.Prior to founding Northstone CFO, Nikolaus served for ten years as Business Manager of a highway construction company, where he functioned as the company’s financial lead and de facto Controller. In this role, he oversaw the full scope of financial operations and worked directly with ownership to support financial oversight and operational decision-making.His experience includes job costing and WIP reporting, cash flow management, bonding and banking relationships, commercial and health insurance renewals, equipment financing, revenue recognition, and margin management — providing a practical understanding of the financial and operational realities construction companies face.Having worked inside a construction company’s financial leadership role for a decade, Nikolaus understands the challenges owners face and focuses on delivering practical financial insight that supports better business decisions.
